Social media has become increasingly challenging to navigate, with factors like platform fragmentation and the rise of AI-generated content blurring the lines between authentic and fabricated material. Despite these challenges, social media remains vital for brands and continues to drive business growth, though the future remains uncertain.

Social Media Week, taking place April 14–16 at New York City’s Metropolitan Pavilion, is the event where industry professionals will gather to address these complexities.

This year’s speakers include:

  • Emma Grede, founder, entrepreneur, author, and host of the Aspire with Emma Grede podcast

  • The Daily Show correspondents, including Jordan Klepper, Josh Johnson, and Grace Kuhlenschmidt

  • Rob Gaige, global head of insights at Reddit

  • Suzanne Lindbergh, global head of social media & influencers at Intuit

  • Mabel Martinez, director of social at Lancôme

  • Lia Haberman, creator economy expert and creator of the newsletter In Case You Missed It

  • Dhar Mann, founder of Dhar Mann Studios

The program will cover topics such as operating in a 24/7 world, the influence of creators shaping current trends, and strategies to break through social media feeds.

The event attracts active practitioners in the field. Last year, 46% of attendees were director-level or higher, with 90% working in social, content, or digital roles across more than 800 companies. This year, social teams from major brands like Bank of America, Comcast, Lowe’s, Match Group, PayPal, Tubi, Warner Bros., and YouTube will be in attendance.
